What do I need to book the trip?
You will need to email back a signed copy of our Terms and Conditions, Payment Policy, picture ID, and Credit Card Authorization Form. The FAA requires that we obtain passenger names and weights.

How do I pay for the trip?
You will be emailed an invoice after the flight is complete. Payment is due upon receipt and can be paid by check or credit card (payment by credit card will incur a 3% surcharge). We require a credit card to be held on file prior to the flight departure. We can make special arrangements, upon request.

Are there FAA boarding requirements?
Yes, the FAA mandates we ask for the names and weights of every passenger flying, as well as the amount of luggage you plan to bring. The TSA requires a current government-issued photo ID be presented for any passenger.

Can Solutions arrange for transportation at the destination airport?
Yes, we can handle all your transportation needs upon arrival. We can also take care of any catering or special food/beverage requests.

Are there restrictions to how long the pilot can fly or work per day?
Yes, the FAA restricts commercial pilots to a 14 hour duty day.  One pilot can fly a maximum of 8 hours per day; while a 2-pilot crew can fly a maximum of 10 hours per day. 

How many airports can Solutions reach and operate into safely and efficiently?
We can access over 5,000 airports in the US, compared with the 550 commercial airports accessed by scheduled air carriers.

Are there hidden costs I should look for when I charter?
Not with Solutions! But beware of some other carriers. We estimate EVERY charge in your quote.

Can the plane wait for me at my destination?
Yes. If your trip is a one day trip, the plane and pilot will be ready to depart at your requested departure time. If your travel covers multiple days, the plane can be held in reserve for your use for which we charge a standby fee.  You can opt not to pay the standby fee, though we reserve the option to dispatch the plane and crew out for a trip during your downtime.

What if I need to change or cancel my trip?
We will accommodate any changes in plans. However, you may cancel your trip with no charge up to 72 hours prior to departure. Cancellation after that time will incur a portion of the total trip charge.

Can I bring my pets with me?
Yes, but you must have all pets specifically approved before departure. Special terms and conditions may apply.

Is there a minimum flight hour charge per day?
Yes, the charges can vary depending on the aircraft booked. Ask your representative for details, but they typically range from 1.5 to 2 flight hours per day. This charge would be seen on your initial quote—no surprises.
